We Can. We Will. We Must Change the Way You See Yourself!

We can, we will, and we must change the way you see yourself! Start looking at yourself in a positive way—even when situations seem negative. Surround yourself with people who encourage you to prosper and grow. Always connect yourself to a “fully charged battery”—people who uplift and energize you. Avoid associating with those who have no charge, as they will not help you move forward.

Mandatory Influenza (Flu) Vaccinations: 2024–2025

MedStar Health:

• Deadline: November 18, 2024
• Applies to: Staff, health associates, physicians, residents, students, contracted staff, etc.

Children’s National:

• Deadline: December 6, 2024

All staff are required to receive the flu vaccine and submit proof of vaccination (if received outside Occupational Health) by the respective deadlines. Vaccines received after August 1, 2024, will be accepted for the 2024–2025 flu season.

Exemptions:

• MedStar members with previously granted religious or permanent medical exemptions do not need to reapply. These exemptions remain valid for the duration of your employment at MedStar Health.

COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 cases are rising. The vaccine is available, but it is not mandatory at this time. However, vaccination is strongly recommended for your protection.

Project 2025

I would like to share information about Donald Trump’s Project 2025. This initiative contains some of the most negative policies that affect Union Members and Americans. I urge you to learn more and share this information with everyone you know.
